The Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce Veterans Committee warmly invites the community to join in honoring our nation’s heroes at the Annual Veterans Day Event. This heartfelt tribute to the men and women who have selflessly served our country will take place on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at First Christian Church, located at 4202 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75701. Event Highlights: • Program (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM): A meaningful presentation featuring live music, poetry performances, and words of inspiration from Veterans and distinguished Tyler City Council Members, Dr. Shirley McKellar and Lloyd Nichols. • Reception (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM): An opportunity for fellowship with complimentary food and beverages. Each veteran in attendance will receive a special gift bag as a token of our gratitude. This annual gathering is more than just an event; it is an opportunity for our community to stand united in honoring the sacrifices and contributions made by those who served in the armed forces. Through music, poetry, and the voices of our community leaders, we will pay tribute to their unwavering commitment to safeguarding our freedom. The event is free of charge and open to the public.
