Tyler Community Band Concert

The Tyler Community Band, directed by Mrs. Judy Wilson and Mr. Neil Smith, presents its annual fall concert on Tuesday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Caldwell Auditorium in Tyler. The program, celebrating the band's 30th anniversary, features familiar favorites "Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral" by Wagner, Holst's "First Suite in E flat for Military Band", and "Down a Country Lane" by Copland. Guest conductors Dr. Jeffery Emge will direct "On a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss" by Holsinger and Ronald Todd "Procession of the Nobles" by Rimsky-Korsakov. Other favorites include "That Old Hound Dog Rag" by Standridge and Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever". The concert is free.
