Tyler Community Band Concert

The Tyler Community Band, under the direction of Judy Wilson and Neil Smith, presents a spring concert, "Dedication" on Sunday, May 5 at 3 p.m. at Rosewood Estates, Tyler. The program features music dedicated to the memory of numerous family members and friends of band members. Musical selections include popular music by Ray Charles and Rodgers and Hammerstein as well as "Crossing the Darien Gap" by band member Kelly Bennette. Other program music consists of "Shenandoah" by Ticheli, Holsinger's "Havendance" and a march by John Philip Sousa. "Clarinet Polka" highlights the clarinet section and :Bugler's Holiday" the trumpet section. The concert is free.
