NEWS RELEASE Smith County Republican Club will hold their first meeting in 2020, Thursday, 9 January, 6:30 pm at Hollytree Country Club. Officers for 2020 will be installed after which we will be addressed by Dr. Michael Tidwell, President University of Texas at Tyler. Dr. Tidwell will enlighten us on “The State of Higher Education.” We also expect to hear about the programs at the university and the many steps forward that are happening. There will be a question and answer period. Hollytree CC is located at 6700 Hollytree Drive, Tyler. Meetings are open to the public and all are welcome. A limited light menu is available. - 30 –
