Opening Day A.C. Gentry, Jr. Art Exhibit Art Exhibit

Born in Tyler, Texas, in 1927, local artist A.C. Gentry, Jr. and his artwork are the focus of the Smith County Historical Society's newest exhibit. Mr. Gentry was named “Texas State Artist” for 1973-74 by the Texas State Legislature.-- Come meet Tyler's Artist A.C. Gentry, Jr. and learn more about his career and family in Tyler, Texas. Free admission. Light refreshments available. We still have about 120 eggs on display from our Whimsical Egg-Art collection as well.
