Neches Wilderness Canoe & Kayak Race

20 mile canoe & kayak race from the Neches River Authority Campground by Blackburn Dam, (Lake Palestine) to Highway 79 near Neches & Jacksonville. You can race with the Pros or treat it like a float trip. Great opportunity to paddle the Neches with boat rentals, lunch and shuttle provided, with registration. Most Pros paddle this course in 3-5 hours. Others may take up to 8 hours. Bring food and drinks in your boat. Dress for muddiness. Toughest Little Canoe Race in Texas!
