Manes & Tales Summer Reading Program

The Manes & Tales Reading Program is a partnership between Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch and the Henderson County Library. Kids between the ages of 5 and 12 can sign up to come by to read to the horses. It helps the horses build trust with people, and helps the kids build reading skills. The program takes place outdoors, so participants will be exposed to the elements. Parents are encouraged to attend and watch from a distance.

Fees/Admission

Free! Admission is limited to 15 kids, so sign up at the Henderson County Library to reserve your spot. Bring multiple books for the kids to read.
