All Academy Information night

On September 16, representatives from the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, ROTC, and Armed Forces recruiters will gather at Bishop Gorman Catholic High School in Tyler for an All Academy/Federal Scholarship Night. The evening will include a brief presentation on the service academies and their unique application processes. Afterward, students can meet with representatives from each organization to ask more detailed questions. This is a valuable opportunity for students to connect with multiple academy and military representatives in one place. A representative from Congressman Moran’s office will also discuss the nomination process. Students must receive a nomination to attend any service academy except the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Note- students from other congressional districts are welcome to attend! Please share this opportunity with your students and your middle school or junior high colleagues. Eighth grade is a great time for students to begin learning about the service academies. Counsellors, parents and administrators are welcome and encouraged to attend.
