DESCRIPTION:The 11th Annual School is Cool is a countywide back-to-school celebration and preparation event\; our goal is to foster a culture of education and to prepare families and students for a successful school year. During one evening each August\, parents and students (from prekindergarten through 12th grade) are able to access a wide variety of services across several local agencies that will lead to a successful start to the school year. This project does what no single organization is able to do alone. It joins individuals\, businesses\, service agencies and everything in between together\, working with a singular focus: to promote a culture of education as we invest in our community's immediate needs.
