DESCRIPTION:Our 8th annual Santa's Bake Shop fundraiser\, for the Lillie Russell Memorial Library\, will be hosted on Saturday\, December 5th\, 2020 starting at 10:00am. Santa's Bake Shop is a cookie sale where almost all of our cookies and supplies are donated. This means 95% of our fundraising goes back into the library. Unfortunately\, like so many other entities\, we have had to cancel most of our fundraising opportunities this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thankfully\, we are excited to be able to move forward with this event. Our library is a hub of community activities and programs that are vital to the people of Lindale. We submit our proposal to you in the hopes that you will join us in continuing to provide these outstanding valuable resources to our community through the library. Our sponsorships\, please see attached\, do provide a tax-deductible opportunity for you. This year the CARES Act is allowing anyone to deduct up to $300 in cash donations they make to qualified charities\, like the Lillie Russell Memorial Library.
